Chronisle ("the App") is developed and provided by the individual developer Achillefs Kalathas ("we", "us", "our"). We take privacy seriously. Chronisle is designed to work primarily on your device, and we do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.

1. Information We Collect

Chronisle does not collect, store, transmit, or share personal information with the developer. The App does not require an account, does not connect to developer-controlled external servers for app data storage, and does not use analytics, tracking technologies, or advertising SDKs.

Most app data is stored locally on your device. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:

• islands and island settings
• focus/session data and activity log entries
• saved sets
• saved templates in the in-app Template Library
• custom island names, colors, icons, emoji, and notes
• custom user-selected images for islands
• app preferences and settings

2. Permissions and Device Features

Chronisle may request access to certain device features only when needed for a user-initiated action:

• Photo Library Access: used only when you choose to select a custom image for an island.
• Notifications: used only to deliver local timer/completion notifications on your device.

These permissions are optional and feature-specific. Chronisle does not use them to collect data for the developer, analytics, profiling, or advertising.

3. Template Files and User-Initiated Sharing

Chronisle supports importing and exporting template files (for example, .islandtemplate files) so users can save, reuse, and share their own templates.

• Imported template files are stored locally in the App’s Template Library.
• Exported template files are created only when you explicitly choose to export or share them.
• Exported template files do not include custom user-selected images.
• Chronisle does not automatically send template files anywhere.
• Any sharing of template files happens only through user-initiated system sharing features such as the iOS share sheet.

4. How We Use Data

Because Chronisle is designed to work locally on your device, app data is used only to provide the features you choose to use, such as timers, logs, templates, saved sets, custom images, and related settings. We do not access your data remotely and do not use it for analytics, advertising, or profiling.

5. Third-Party Services

Chronisle does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.

6. Children’s Privacy

Chronisle is suitable for users of all ages. Since the App does not collect personal data from users, it is designed to minimize privacy risks for children as well.

7. Data Security

Chronisle is designed so that your app content remains on your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share something yourself. Exported template files do not include custom user-selected images. While no method of storage is perfectly risk-free, we aim to keep the App’s data handling as privacy-preserving and minimal as possible.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect app changes or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page.
